Getting my squid on

I really had a lot of fun with this one.
My inspiration was found in a very old and mouldy book of popular science.

Acrylic on canvass, which I stretched myself, yo.

Eventually

I'm still alive and kickin'.
This looks nothing like what I wanted it to
but I still like it for what it is.
Word.

Little Lunar

This one was special so I was reluctant to post at first.
For the tuner of lunar pianos:

It was taken from a silly doodle so it had to be perfectly wonky. Maybe his antlers can help with tuning?

In other news, my frown is gone because I have a skirt to match his cape.

Sleepy Head

My very first quilting adventure for the only baby I adore.
There is a bumble bee pattern on the back.

I plan on one day making a full bed-sized quilt.

In other news...
this skirt is ever so constricting and frumpy.
Tune in next time to watch that frown turn upside down!

Grizzly time!

About darn time.
I decided a while ago that it was essential I make a charming circus master.

He is about 12 inches tall and made using both new and recycled fabric from old skirts and dresses.

Happy break to you all and see you very soon!

Unsettled

It was quite a while ago when Haleigh found an unfinished drawing of eyes that I had done on a boring night. She liked it a lot but I decided that I could only give it to her if I fully completed the picture.
Hey hey, I finished it today but I'm not sure if it is done or if I'll end up giving it to her.

Two faces for you

Most of the things I've sewn have been gifts for people that I love. I've found that if there isn't that sort of a purpose behind all the stitching, the results aren't very special. Although I am not sure why I made you, Harvey, I still think you're pretty swell.
